GWALIOR –  Gwalior, a city in Madhya Pradesh, is renowned for its majestic Gwalior Fort and historic palaces. It’s a cultural hub with ties to classical music and arts.

 

ORCHHA –  Orchha, a historic town in Madhya Pradesh, is known for its grand palaces, temples, and cenotaphs along the Betwa River. Its architectural heritage is stunning and picturesque.

 

KHAJURAHO – Khajuraho, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Madhya Pradesh, is famous for its stunning temples with intricate stone carvings. These temples depict art, culture, and spirituality.

 

 

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrive at Gwalior-the historic city of Madhya Pradesh

Arrive at Gwalior and meet & get picked up by our tour representative from Gwalior Airport/Gwalior Railway Station/ Gwalior Bus Stand. After this, proceed and check in to the hotel. Freshen up and get relaxed. In the evening, proceed for an amazing Light & Sound show at the Gwalior Fort & immerse yourself into the rich history of this city. Overnight Stay at Gwalior.
Our Recommendation- Try out the famous Bahadure Ke Laddoo at Bada Bazaar.

Day 2 :
Explore the beauty of Gwalior

Today after breakfast, proceed for the local sightseeing tour of Gwalior and visit the famous Jai Vilas Palace (famous for its Tuscan style of architecture) as well as visit Gurjari Mahal Archeological museum and the famous Gwalior Fort. Overnight stay at Gwalior.
Our Recommendation- Hire a local guide at Gwalior Fort for a better understanding of the fort and its history.

Day 3 :
GWALIOR-ORCHHA

Today after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for the small little historic town of Orchha, which is a 2 hour and a half drive from Gwalior. Upon arrival, check in and proceed to explore the famous Orchha Fort complex which comprises of a lot of architectural monuments. Post this, attend the famous light & sound show over here. Overnight stay in Orchha.
Our recommendation- Hire a local guide at Orchha Fort for a better understanding of the fort.

Day 4 :
ORCHHA-KHAJURAHO

After breakfast, check out and visit the famous Ram Raja Temple at Orchha before proceeding towards Khajuraho, which is around 3 hours drive away from Orchha. Upon reaching, check in to the hotel, relax and in the evening proceed for the lovely light and sound show. Overnight stay at Khajuraho.

Day 5 :
Explore the town of ancient temples-Khajuraho

After breakfast; today get on to explore the beautiful western and eastern group of temples in Khajuraho. Also, the ancient temples of the Western Complex are also recognized as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight stay at Khajuraho.
Our recommendation-Hire a local guide at the Western Group of Temples for a better insight into these temples.

Departure
