LEH0009 : UMLING LA MOTORCYCLE TOUR

Upon arrival at Leh airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport) you will be picked up from the airport and check in to the hotel. Since Leh is located at the height of 3500Mtrs ASL, it is very important for each one of you to have enough rest to get acclimatise for upcoming days. No motorcycles will be provided today since you need enough time to get acclimatise. Dinner Included

After breakfast we will start exploring Leh local sightseeing at 12 noon, we will visit Pathar sahab gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, Indus & Zanskar confluence and Shanthi Stupa. We will get back to Leh by evening, and rest of the day you can spend time by yourself by spending time in Leh local market for shopping & souvenirs. Breakfast & Dinner Included

Today we will start our journey towards Nubra valley, Nubra valley is a coldest desert situated at the height of 10000ft asl in Himalayas. Before reaching we will cross Khardungla pass at the height of 5380Mtrs, which is the worlds highest motorable road. We will also visit Diskit gompa and Hunder sand dunes, where you can do double hump camel safari. By evening we will reach the camp in Nubra valley. Breakfast & Dinner Included

Soon after the breakfast, we will start our ride towards Pangong Tso Lake, before that we will cross multiple check post where we need to submit our restricted area permits and inner line permits. By early evening we will reach Spangmik village which is at the banks of Pangong Tso Lake. We will be staying at tented accommodation today. Pangong Lake is located at the height of 4225Mtrs ASL. After breakfast we will start riding towards Hanle. Hanle is a large historic village in the Indian union territory of Ladakh. It is the site of the 17th century Hanle Monastery of the Drukpa Kagyu branch of Tibetan Buddhism. Hanle is located in the Hanle River valley on an old branch of the ancient Ladakh–Tibet trade route. Most of the roads will be off road and one will enjoy the adventure in the Himalayas. By evening we will reach Hanle and stay in a Homestay in a dormitory. Breakfast & Dinner Included

After early breakfast we will start our ride towards Umling La pass. Umling La Pass is located at a distance of 100 kilometres from Hanle; in the direction of the village of Demchok; in Changthang Valley of Ladakh region. Most of the roads for today will be completely off road with High altitude terrains. We will be riding for more than 2 hours in 15000 Ft Above sea level, we will reach Umling pass by noon, after spending some time there and we will ride back on the same route to reach Hanle. By evening we will reach Hanle and stay at a Homestay in a Dormitory. Breakfast & Dinner Included

After exploring some of the rugged terrains of Himalayas, we will start our return journey towards Leh city. It will be the longest ride of the trip and we will start little early , we will be crossing multiple villages enroute in the Changthang valley. We will reach Leh by evening.
